We’ve released the Eficode ROOT Team Management v1.4 and it contains a slew of improvements to both the user interface as well as the functionalities.
Improvements
- The group response now contains information about which of the nested groups are immediate descendants and which are not
- Default bots are now able to read public user and group information
- Eficode RTM version is now visible in the user interface (bottom of the screen as well as the dropdown menu in the top right corner)
- The Eficode RTM synchronizers now support transforming arbitrary characters. This means that it is possible to configure the synchronizer in such a way that groups and users containing characters that are not supported by some end tools get transformed to a more compatible format.
- Support for synchronizing nested groups from Azure AD has been added
- Eficode RTM UI has gone through a series of facelifts
- Added new API endpoints for creating and updating users in batches. This makes synchronization and 3rd party integrations easier and faster.
Bug Fixes
- Trying to create a user with the same ID as a bot no longer fails silently, but instead responds with an appropriate error message
- Audit log now properly shows the information related to users added and removed from a group
- Audit log now properly shows the information related to users added and removed from a bot
- The REST API now reacts correctly to updating a user with an email address that is the same address but in different casing
- Fixed multiple bugs related to handling upper and lower case entries
- Eficode RTM should now more consistently open the correct previous window when using the back-button in your browser
- Added missing audit log information:
- Group short name update data now contains the old group name
- Group delete now contains more data
- User lock/unlock events now show up in the audit log
- The createOrUpdate endpoint now primarily targets users based on the external id to keep track of synchronized users whose details have been changed.
