Become an Eficode contractor

Once you join our network, we match your skills and experience with client requirements. You'll receive notifications of potential opportunities, and after discussions with both you and the client, we handle the contract negotiations. We aim for a smooth process, from initial placement to project completion.

We offer a variety of contract types, including:

• Short-term contracts for project-specific work.
• Long-term contracts for ongoing engagements.
• Contract-to-hire opportunities, where you may transition to a full-time role with the client.

We ensure timely payment for all contractors. Payment terms are clearly outlined in the contract, and we typically operate on a monthly or bi-weekly payment cycle. You’ll have full transparency over rates, taxes, and any applicable deductions.

Once you’ve accepted a contract, we guide you through the onboarding process, which includes setting up accounts with the client, reviewing project goals, and completing any necessary compliance paperwork. We ensure you're ready to start quickly and effectively.

We provide ongoing support throughout your contract, including:

• Dedicated account managers to assist with any issues or questions.
• Regular check-ins to ensure smooth project progress.
• Mediation of any client-related concerns or conflicts.
• Access to Eficode's consultants in the event of unexpected project hurdles.

Contractor rates vary depending on the client, the complexity of the project, and your level of expertise. We negotiate fair rates that reflect market conditions and ensure you’re compensated competitively for your skills.

As a contractor, you will typically operate as an independent freelancer, responsible for your own taxes, benefits, and insurance. We can assist with any questions regarding compliance with local tax and labor laws, and in some cases, we may also offer options for W-2 employment (in the US) or equivalent arrangements based on the country of operation.

We prioritize successful contractor-client relationships, but if any issues arise:

• We will work with you to address client feedback and make necessary adjustments.
• Clear terms in the contract will outline any consequences in such situations, ensuring both sides are protected.

Our contracts are designed to be flexible to accommodate your preferences and availability. We offer options for full-time and part-time work, as well as the ability to take on multiple contracts simultaneously, depending on your capacity.

If a client wants to extend or renew your contract, we handle the negotiation process on your behalf. We'll ensure the terms are agreeable to you, including compensation adjustments if needed, and facilitate the transition into the next phase of your engagement.

All contractors are required to sign confidentiality agreements, and any IP created during your contract is typically owned by the client unless otherwise specified. We work with you to ensure that all legal protections are in place before the project begins.
