Eficode announces Continuous Deployment keyboard
Helsinki, Finland, April 1st 2021 - Eficode, Europe's leading DevOps company, has today announced its first ever hardware product, a special keyboard for software developers simplifying their transition to the cloud.

Discover a bug, and social media goes haywire. To address this situation, Eficode has launched a new hardware product, Eficode APR-01 keyboard, which is tightly integrated with Visual Studio Code. As soon as a software developer types a letter using this keyboard, the keyboard driver immediately engages testing, builds a new release and deploys it to production. The innovative combination of test automation, continuous integration and continuous deployment brings cycle time, one of the software development productivity metrics, down to just one keystroke.
“There is no more annoying thing to a software developer than to have proudly completed their code and not have it at the users’ disposal. This new Eficode APR-01 keyboard is a true CI/CD powerhouse! Our next release of the keyboard will have an option to define which characters invoke the deployment process, such as a closing parenthesis (Hello Clojure programmers!), a closing curly brace or a semicolon. However, even this first keyboard model is fully compatible with our statement that ‘Leading organizations fail in production’. Some of them are just faster than others”, concludes Marko.
