Welcome to everybody who's attending this webinar series on top AI tools for DevOps and software development. In this episode, we're talking about building AI on your own terms—insights from Eficode's AI Agent Factory. We'll discuss what we've been building internally and the demo environments we've created around the AI factory concept.
Hi, my name is Henri Terho, and with me I have Alex from Eficode. Hello! Today's agenda includes a bit of slideware, as that's what consultants do. I'll run you through the background of what an AI factory means and what's happening there, and then Alex will show a demo of what we've been building to create software factories using AI. At the end, we'll have some time for questions.
Let's start with a poll to gather some feedback from the audience about your experiences with AI in your company. Most people seem to be in the planning stage, while others are using tools like GitHub Copilot. It's common now to engage with AI tools, and we have some participants already exploring custom assistants and agents.
Today, we're discussing how to build hybrid AI and human interactions in organizations. Many people see AI as a significant opportunity, but the reality is that not many are getting it into production. While 60% of software teams using AI report productivity gains, many companies struggle to integrate AI into existing workflows.
At Eficode, we've encountered challenges in preparing for AI implementation. It often comes down to basic DevOps practices—having metrics, automation frameworks, and data access in place is crucial before jumping into AI.
As we build our systems, we aim to run AI agents on any platform where the data resides, whether in the cloud or locally. This approach minimizes the pain of data movement and allows us to manage agents effectively. Now, let's move on to the demo where Alex will showcase what we've built and how AI can benefit you.
